Let's see how many times I can say "ambient." Jkay. "Tutorials" is the first collaboration EP between Christopher Norwood (Repeated Measures) and Zulfikar Poluani (Of Swords). The first track is slow and simple, definitely enjoyable downtempo listening. But I like the rest better. "Handstand" has that vocal sample fuckery that everyone stays hooked on, over some clanging percussion. "Analog[ue] Plea" sounds like the soundtrack to a melancholy version of pac-man. And I mean that in the best way possible. I especially love "Tutorial" ft. Natrina Gandana, you can really see the seeds for a huge indie hit in these kids.
Check out Natrina's short story that apparently synchs up with "Tutorial."
Let's hope these people continue to make sounds together.
