InnerSummer is the perfect artist name for TL Hugo's "aching teenage melodies." He's been consistently pushing out some good content via Soundcloud and tumblr, continuing the trend with "Let's Raise Hell In My Basement." That title should make every suburban kid reflect a little. Hell, with the name InnerSummer he's got himself a good little hip-nostalgia theme goin'. The ultra catchy western guitar twang is in style (never been out of style) and utilized to great effect here on this track. Vocals come in telling a story of typical teenagerdom, but he keeps it from being depressingly melancholy, just straightforward.
Enjoy it while the weather is nice to get the most out of the InnerSummer vibe.
